The sun is very intense here in Argentina. Some days are absolutely perfect for the beach. The other day, Wiles and I went beaching. When we started, our chests were the same skin tone, but by the end, we could already see mine changing color (my back got multiple shades) and his skin was still the same shade of white. We used the same sunscreen. He called it "Auto-tan" which made me laugh, but I was like "Let's just not get burned".
In America people have rights, but here, people have liberties. Even though the government is so corrupt here, the people live a much less regulated lifestyle. People who work hard get taxed out the ass, but you could live a pretty comfortable, low-stress life here if that's what you were going for.
The cheap things are so much higher quality here too. I had an ice cream bar (Dulce de Leche is another national obsession, actually invented in Mar del Plata, where I was staying) and it was rich and flavorful. Keep in mind that in America, an equivalent packaged, chocolate covered ice cream product would be some flavorless "vanilla" ice cream with something tasteless and crunchy in it, coated with a bland, waxy layer of chocolate. ¡Viva Argentina!
One Liner: I fight in my own way, by feeling for people, it's more hardcore than hating them.
